Who The Hell is Mighty Kaos?

I’m Mighty Kaos, a Hip-Hop Artist and graphic designer based out of Boston, Massachusetts. My first full-length feature album is called Tings & Things: Aphorisms Wrapped in Wisdom, an ode to the lessons I learned growing up in the city. Inspired by the Legendary Black Swan Trader and Philosopher Nassim Nicholas Taleb, I wrote and produced Tings & Things as a gift to Taleb and his army of Antifragile followers who have shown me incredible support on Twitter. Tings & Things is not a Procrustean Bed. It has no central theme. It is not intended to make you feel one emotion in the way that most musicians write an album. This album is fractal, from the individual sounds, to the beats, to the lyrics, to the choruses, to the verses. You can take one line or verse from each song and transfer it to another and it will flow seamlessly. It has songs that will make you want to dance, motivate you to bust out that last rep at the gym, get lost in thought, or point and laugh at our dear Fooled by Randomness friends, the IYI’s.

My talents truly toe the line between Dionysian Rhythm and Apollonian Design. In keeping with the Spirit of the Mad Philosopher Nietzsche, the album also has a design element which can be viewed here. My Tings and Things design portfolio was created to honor those with Skin in the Game. It is an ode to all of the hustlers, engineers, doers, creators, and protectors who are the glue to the progress we’ve made as a civilization.
